OUR MASKS PARADED IN EVERYONE’S PERCEPTIONS

MAYBE OUR IDENTITIES ARE JUST ACCUMULATIONS

AM I A SHEEP FOLLOWING NINE CLOUDS

EXPECTING THEIR APPROVAL AS HAPPINESS

AND ASKING FOR PERMISSION TO LOVE MYSELF

UNVEILING THE FACE OF TRUTH MIGHT LEAD TO DIVORCE

BECAUSE HOW CAN THIS BE LOVE

WHEN I DEMANDED TO STAY HIDDEN

CROUCHING LOW AND BRINGING MY SELF ESTEEM

LETTING THE FIRE STEAM IT TOO TENDERLY

UNDERESTIMATE IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT

DIAGNOSE ME WITH IMPOSTER SYNDROME

BECAUSE I LACK SELF WORTH

CUT FROM A DIAMOND BUT I CAN’T SEE THE CLARITY

THAT MY VALUE IS PRICELESS

BUT THESE FALSE ASSUMPTIONS AREN’T ME

AND ONLY I CAN REMOVE THEM

STRIPPING THEIR POWER AWAY

I LAY NAKED IN MY AUTHENTICITY

IS THIS THE START OF SELF-DISCOVERY?
